Before you apply for a visa or an entry permit, check if you are eligible for a visa-free entry or to receive visa on arrival or you need eVisa prior to travel or an entry permit pre-arranged by a sponsor based in the UAE.
Visa-Free Entry
Citizens of GCC countries do not require a visa or permit or to be sponsored by a national or resident in the UAE. They need to produce their GCC country passport or national ID card at the point of entry into the UAE.
GCC residents and companions travelling with GCC citizens need to apply for visa online and obtain the same before arriving in the UAE. GCC Individuals (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman) can apply for the entry permit through the official online portal below by the UAE Ministry of Interior (Click Here).
Visa on Arrival
Citizens of the following countries (See the link) can get a 30-day visit visa on arrival, free of charge and renewable for similar period.
Citizens of the following countries (See the link) can get a 90-day multiple entry visit visa, free of charge and valid for 6 months from the date of issue for a stay of 90 days.
Indian citizens holding regular passports with U.S. visas, green cards, U.K Resident Permits, or EU resident permits are allowed to receive entry visa upon arrival to UAE valid for 14 days and can be extended only once for a similar period. The Indian Passport, U.S. visa, the green card,the U.K Resident Permit and the EU resident permit must be valid for at least six months.

Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the UAE.

UAE Embassy:
You can approach the UAE embassy at your locale and apply for the entry permit with the required documentations. You may be required to produce an invitation letter that will be provided to you upon request after completing your registration to the conference.

Most hotels (3-5 star) in the UAE provide visa assistance on request if you have booked your stay with them.
